Styrelsen i Global Gaming har idag utsett Tobias Fagerlund till t.f. VD och koncernchef. Nuvarande VD Joacim Möller kommer att lämna sitt uppdrag i koncernen med omedelbar verkan. Tobias sitter i styrelsen för bolaget sedan 2016.
Den förändring som den svenska spelmarknaden går igenom bl.a. efter det att den nya spellagstiftningen trädde i kraft vid årsskiftet är omfattande. Den har medfört stora förändringar för alla aktörer verksamma på den svenska spelmarknaden, inte minst för Global Gaming.
Det är styrelsens uppfattning att Global Gaming är ett i grunden starkt bolag med stora förutsättningar att fortsätta vara en betydande aktör på den svenska marknaden. För att lyckas med det behöver bolagets förändringsarbete intensifieras ytterligare och det är styrelsens uppfattning att det omfattande arbetet och vägen framåt behöver ett nytt ledarskap.
Tobias har lång erfarenhet från ledande operativa befattningar och styrelsearbete inom spelindustrin och i noterade miljöer och stor insikt i de utmaningar och nödvändiga åtgärder som bolaget står inför.
Arbetet med att rekrytera en ny permanent VD och koncernchef inleds omgående.

Global Gaming 555 AB Tobias Fagerlund appointed as acting CEO
The Board of Directors of Global Gaming has today appointed Tobias Fagerlund as acting CEO. Current CEO Joacim Möller will leave his assignment in the Group with immediate effect. Tobias is a member of the company’s Board since 2016.
The change that the Swedish gaming market goes through after the new legislation came into force at the beginning of the year is extensive. It has led to major changes for all gaming operators in the Swedish gaming market, not least for Global Gaming.
It is the Board's opinion that Global Gaming is a fundamentally strong company with great potential to continue to be a significant player in the Swedish market. In order to succeed, the company's adaptation to be further intensified. It is the Board's opinion that the extensive work and the way forward needs a new leadership.
Tobias has extensive experience from leading operational positions and board appointments in the gaming industry and listed companies and great insight into the challenges and necessary measures that the company faces.
The work of recruiting a new permanent CEO starts immediately.
