HDR Partners advised the owners of Lin Education in the divestment to Summa Equity

HDR Partners are pleased to announce that we acted as financial advisor to the owners of Lin Education in the divestment to Summa Equity.

Lin Education is a Swedish Education Technology company founded in 2007. The company is a leader in the Swedish market for digitalization of the educational system and offers IT hardware, digital content and training and supplementary services for a digital learning environment. Lin Education has demonstrated strong double digit revenue growth annually over the past three years and reported revenues of SEK 570 million in 2016.

Summa Equity is a Nordic private equity firm established in 2016. Summa focuses on sectors related to four megatrend driven themes: resource scarcity, energy efficiency, changing demographics and tech-enabled businesses. Summa Equity closed its first fund in February 2017 with commitments of SEK 4.5 billion.

The transaction was completed on the 20thof February, 2017. Deal terms were not disclosed.
