NCC has signed a lease with Fitness24Seven for 1,085 square meters of space in the new office building on Skånegatan 1-3, at Ullevi in central Gothenburg. Occupancy is scheduled for September 2015.

“Ullevi has a rich street life, both day and night, which is perfect for our target group and our opening hours. Together with NCC, we are developing what we call a plus facility that, in addition to a gym, will include rooms for various types of fitness training,” says Christian Ask, President of Fitness24Seven.

In September 2015, Fitness24Seven will open its doors at Skånegatan 1-3, where it has leased 1,085 square meters of space. Only one area intended for service remains unleased in the entire building. This means that 90 percent of the space has been leased.

“Fitness24Seven is an excellent tenant and will provide other tenants and companies in the area with the opportunity to strengthen the health and well-being of their employees,” says Manne Aronsson, Acting Country Manager, NCC Property Development Sweden. “We know that the health of employees makes a strong contribution to a company’s earnings.”

The property boasts a prime location in terms of transport links. Skånegatan 1-3 is located near the Nya Ullevi Arena, within walking distance of Gothenburg Central Station. Both trams and buses stop nearby. The property will be a GreenBuilding and will aspire to an Excellent rating according to the international BREEAM environmental certification system. This means that considerable attention will be paid to the building’s indoor environment, ecology, lifecycle and waste, as well as energy and water consumption. The premises are being developed in line with the “Future Office by NCC” concept, a Nordic model designed to create attractive and sustainable workplaces for customers.
