NCC has entered into an agreement with the Copenhagen police authority concerning the leasing of 9,227 square meters office space in the Teglholmen Company House office building in Copenhagen, Denmark.

“We are delighted that the Copenhagen police authority chooses NCC. This deal the customer demand for environmentally certified buildings”, says Carola Lavén, Business Area Manager at NCC Property Development.

The lease comprises 9,227 square meters of office space and approximately 400 employees will relocate to the premises in the second quarter of 2014. The Public Property Agency (Bygningsstyrelsen) has signed the lease on behalf of the Copenhagen police authority.

“Teglholmen Company House will meet the complex needs of the Copenhagen police authority from both a technical and an organizational perspective. The move will enable us to gather several activities in one building, thereby facilitating cooperation between the connected units. The new office is far more efficient and modern than our existing offices, and will result in savings of some SEK 2.9 million annually,” says Lasse Weng, deputy police inspector at the Copenhagen Police.

The Danish pension fund PKA (Pensionskassernes Administration A/S) acquired the property in 2011 and the lease to the Copenhagen police authority means that Teglholmen Company House is now fully let. The lease will have a positive impact on earnings on the fourth quarter 2013 and will be recognized in profit in the business area NCC Property Development.
