Luxemburg, den 27 mars 2014 – Northland Resources S.A. (OSE: NAUR, Frankfurt: NPK, Nasdaq OMX/First North: NAURo – tillsammans med dotterbolagen ”Northland”, ”NRSA” eller ”Bolaget”) har framgångrikt avslutat erbjudandet av super-seniora säkerställda obligationer utställda av Northland Resources AB (publ.).
Erbjudandet av super-seniora säkerställda obligationer utställda av Northland Resources AB (publ.), som beskrevs i pressreleasen daterad den 21 mars 2014, har nu framgångsrikt avslutats. Lånebeloppet kommer uppgå till USD 60 miljoner. Likviddatum för obligationen förväntas bli den 7 april 2014, och slutförandet är villkorat av godkännande från befintliga obligationsägare på obligationsägarmötet den 4 april 2014.

Northland är en producent av järnmalm med en portfölj av produktion, utvecklings- och prospekteringsprojekt i norra Sverige och Finland. Den första byggfasen av Kaunisvaara-projektet är färdig och drifttagningen startade i november 2012. Northland avser att producera ett höghaltigt och högkvalitativt järnmalmskoncentrat i svenska Kaunisvaara, där Bolaget har två fyndigheter, Tapuli och Sahavaara, med magnetitmalm. Northland har ingått så kallade ”off-take agreements” för hela produktionen från Kaunisvaara de kommande sju till tio åren. Bolaget har även färdigställt en lönsamhetsstudie (DFS) för Hannukainen-projektet i Kolari i norra Finland. Hannukainen är en så kallad IOCG-fyndighet, vilket innebär att det utöver järnmalm även kan utvinnas guld och koppar.
