Northland meddelar antal inlösta warranter i December 2013

Luxemburg, den 17 december 2013 – Northland Resources S.A. (OSE: NAUR, Frankfurt: NPK, Nasdaq OMX/First North: NAURo – tillsammans med dotterbolagen ”Northland”, ”NRSA” eller ”Bolaget”) meddelar antalet warranter som lösts in mot aktier under december 2013.

Tidsfristen för innehavare av warranter att anmäla inlösen under oktober 2013 har löpt ut. Bolaget har mottagit anmälan om inlösen av warranter mot totalt 74 810 aktier i Bolaget. Aktierna förväntas att ges ut och registreras på norska Verdipapirsentralen (”VPS”) den 19 december 2013. De nya aktierna är inte möjliga att handla innan de registrerats på VPS och att detta meddelats av Bolaget.

När de nya aktierna getts ut kommer det totala antalet utestående aktier uppgå till 41 722 353. Av de warranter som gavs ut i samband med obligationen i maj 2013 återstår 47 011 322.

Northland är en producent av järnmalm med en portfölj av produktion, utvecklings- och prospekteringsprojekt i norra Sverige och Finland. Den första byggfasen av Kaunisvaara-projektet är färdig och drifttagningen startade i november 2012. Northland avser att producera ett höghaltigt och högkvalitativt järnmalmskoncentrat i svenska Kaunisvaara, där Bolaget har två fyndigheter, Tapuli och Sahavaara, med magnetitmalm. Northland har ingått så kallade ”off-take agreements” för hela produktionen från Kaunisvaara de kommande sju till tio åren. Bolaget förbereder även en lönsamhetsstudie (DFS) för Hannukainen-projektet i Kolari i norra Finland. Hannukainen är en så kallad IOCG-fyndighet, vilket innebär att det utöver järnmalm även kan utvinnas guld och koppar. Bolaget förbereder även en DFS för Pellivuoma-fyndigheten som ligger 15 km från anrikningsverket i Kaunisvaara.
