AS Monaco agree to trial the PolarCap® System

PolarCool AB (publ) have entered into an initial evaluation agreement with European football and French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco for use of the PolarCap® System. AS Monaco will use the PolarCap® System for the rest of the Ligue 1 season in an initial trial period, with the option to sign a commercial agreement following the trial. The agreement adds to PolarCool’s continued momentum within the French market and marks a breakthrough for the company within French Football.

PolarCool established contact with Sylvain Blanchard, Chief Medical Officer at AS Monaco who evaluated the scientific background and the clinical evidence surrounding the PolarCap® System and its benefits in treating concussed players in the acute phase of injury.

The fact that AS Monaco now will to start including PolarCap® in its management for concussions shows the width of the market for PolarCap®. AS Monaco are arguably one of the most recognized teams in French and European Football, with a rich history of success and for producing some of the best footballers in the world.
