HC Davos extends their PolarCap® System agreement
The med-tec company PolarCool AB (publ) has successfully extended the agreement with Swiss ice hockey club HC Davos for the use of the PolarCap® System until 2025. The Swiss National League team has used PolarCap® for the past two seasons in their concussion management routines.
PolarCool develops and markets the product PolarCap®, which alleviates the effects of concussion. The primary users of PolarCap® include sports clubs, organizations, and facilities in contact sports such as ice hockey, rugby, football, and handball, but also other sports with an increased risk of concussion.
The company has recently established significant momentum in the Swiss market, by signing agreements with HC Davos’ and most recently league counterpart, HC Lugano, and will now look forward to continued momentum in Switzerland. HC Davos has used the PolarCap® System for the last two seasons and has provided positive feedback on player experiences from treatment.

The agreement is strategically important and in line with PolarCool's overall strategy to introduce the treatment to the international ice hockey market, even if the financial impact of individual agreements is limited.
