PolarCool’s secures another Top 14 partnership – ASM Clermont Auvergne
The med-tec company PolarCool AB (publ.) continues its growth in French professional rugby by adding another partnership with Top 14 club ASM Clermont Auvergne. The agreement is one of several recently signed with rugby teams in the league and ensures that ASM Clermont Auvergne will provide concussion treatment with PolarCap® for the next 2 seasons.
PolarCool develops and markets the product PolarCap®, which alleviates the effects of concussions. The primary users of PolarCap® include sports clubs, organizations, and facilities in contact sports such as ice hockey, rugby, football, and handball, as well as sports with an increased risk of concussion.
PolarCool has recently achieved significant progress in the French rugby market, with the recent additions of Aviron Bayonnais and Section Paloise as PolarCap® users. At present Top 14 clubs providing PolarCap® include LOU Rugby, Stade Français, Racing 92, Aviron Bayonnais, Section Paloise, and now ASM Clermont Auvergne.
This continued growth solidifies the presence of PolarCap® in the market and increased attention in the rugby world, contributing to the continued adoption of the treatment within the sport.
