PolarCool summarizes its presence at the UEFA Medical Symposium
PolarCool’s CEO Erik Andersson, and Head of Sports Marketing Jamie Bache, both attended the 8th UEFA Medical Symposium on behalf of the company, where they showcased PolarCap® as an official event partner to over 250 of footballs leading medical doctors.
The Medical Symposium was organized by UEFA and the German Football Association (DFB) and the symposium theme was 'The importance of medicine in football and the focus was on the significant evolution of football medicine in the last few years and its crucial role in the modern game.
Each session presented at the symposium was carefully picked by the UEFA medical committee to portray the important role that medicine plays in football and how different solutions can benefit teams and the sport. The topic of concussion played key part in the schedule and PolarCool’s presence provided opportunities for PolarCap to be demonstrated to key persons within European football.

-UEFA highlighting the problems with concussion in football is an important signal to the sport. With the issue of concussion becoming more prevalent in football, it provides PolarCap great potential to become an important tool in football, to be used to limit the effects on concussion and aid player recovery. In our dialogues with various team doctors at the event, we were able to showcase the system, its benefits and state that there is no other established acute treatment for concussions.
