Polygiene AB is pleased to announce the appointment of Edmond Lee as Technical Manager (Asia Pacific)

MALMÖ, Sweden (January 22, 2016) Polygiene AB is pleased to announce the appointment of Edmond Lee as Technical Manager (Asia Pacific). Edmond joins us from our distribution partner WWRC where he has been active for 15 years in the Plastics and Coating Industries.

Edmond has worked in support of Polygiene for the last two years and brings with him a good understanding of Polygiene application and working models. As part of the valued WWRC team, he has been instrumental in helping support the Polygiene business growth of more than 50% in the Asian market in 2015. He graduated as B.SC in Chemistry, and has 20 years’ experience in sales and customer support in the Chemical Industry.

When asked to comment upon his new role Edmond stated, ”The Asian textile industry is a dynamic market and Polygiene’s odor control and freshness technologies have made a significant impact in the performance fabrics sector. I am energized by the opportunity to join a growing company like Polygiene, where I can leverage my commercial and technical background and vision in building the business.”

Edmond’s new role will be to help strengthen the Polygiene presence in the Asia Pacific region, both at the brand and processing partner level. Amongst his duties, Edmond will act as first line of technical support to all our distribution partners in the region, as well as assist them in their dealings with our processing partners.

In addition to this he will be responsible for developing the much needed and vital links to the local sourcing operations of our brand partners.
