Roger Federer receives ATPWorldTour.com Fans’ Favourite Award presented by Ricoh at Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London

London, 21 November, 2011Ricoh Europe, a specialist in office solutions, managed document services and production printing presented Roger Federer with the ‘ATPWorldTour.com Fans’ Favourite Award’ at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at The O2 arena in London on Monday.

The award, sponsored by Ricoh, was the result of online voting by fans around the world. This is the ninth year in a row that Roger has received the fans’ favourite award, demonstrating his long standing favour with fans around the world.

Presenting the award, Ricoh Europe’s Director of Corporate Communications Javier Diez-Aguirre said: “As a leader in his field, Roger epitomises the Ricoh’s values, with a commitment to displaying expertise in everything he does. Ricoh is proud to present this award to such a successful and innovative player who constantly inspires his fans.”

Accepting the award, Roger Federer said: "One of the reasons why I play this wonderful sport is for my fans so I would like to thank them once again for their continued support. It really is so amazing and means the world to me."

The ATPWorldTour.com fans’ favourite award presented by Ricoh is one of several year-end ATP awards being given out during the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London this week. Along with the ATPWorldTour.com Fans’ Favourite Doubles Team, it is the only award decided by the public.
