World premiere for new interactive live stage – Robyn among stars who meet fans in unique digital setting

August 17 marks the world premiere of a never-before-seen interactive digital "live stage" on aftonbladet.se. The first of seven exclusive concerts will take place where the audience can interact with both the artists and each other during the entire recording. International stars such as Robyn, Mando Diao and The Ark are taking part in this world-unique event.
"Its fantastic that I will be able to have interactive contact with fans during the performance. Im really looking forward to the concert," says Robyn, who takes to the stage on August 24. This digital concert format, also called Live-Löpet, is developed in order to be as much as possible like a traditional live recording. The audience buys tickets, gets an assigned "place" and then participates in a unique event that can only be experienced on the spot. Just like at a traditional concert, the audience can react – and interact – during the entire recording, for example by applauding, taking photos, shouting something to the performer and talking with friends who are also in the audience. Heres how it works:

• 20,000 exclusive digital tickets are released for each concert, which the audience uses to log in to the "arena".
• The tickets are personal and the visual quality varies from section to section. 8,000 of the 20,000 tickets are "next to the stage" and can see the concert in HD resolution.
• The artists perform their music in front of a studio camera. Here they can also follow the audiences reaction and comments on computer displays.
• The concertgoers enter a digital arena, complete with audience, lighting and other live effects.
• The audience can interact with the help of a Facebook application, for example to applaud, call out to the artist, hold up a lighter, take pictures to share on the net, or make out with someone in the audience.
• The audience can see if any Facebook friends are in the audience and can communicate with them during the whole concert.

"This is definitely a move in the right direction and its so cool to be a part. We have a lot of international fans and many of them cant get to our ordinary concerts, so this format fits us very well," says Samuel Giers, member of Mando Diao, who will be the first out on the live stage on August 17.

Live-Löpet will run August 17-25. Besides Mando Diao and Robyn, there will be performances by The Ark, Eric Saade, Salem Al Fakir, Ola and Anna Bergendahl. Tickets are free and will be released on August 14 at 12 noon on www.rockbjornen.se.
Live-Löpet is arranged under the Rockbjörnen Live production, Swedens biggest music prize, which from this year on will have a new focus on live performances. The winners, who are voted on by the public, will be presented at the Rockbjörn party, on September 1 at Biskopsudden in Djurgården Park in Stockholm.
