RSM and UKTI celebrate the European Business Awards Swedish National Champions
An exclusive cocktail party was on the 10th of December hosted by the RSM member firms from Scandinavia and the British Ambassador Vivien Life to celebrate the success of all 22 National Champions from Sweden in this year’s European Business Awards competition.
The event, at the Ambassadors resident in Copenhagen, gives the National Champions the chance to network and share business success stories, as well as to hear guest speakers including Flemming Lindelöv, former CEO of Carlsberg Brewery give their own insight into the current business climate across Europe and what businesses can do to maximise growth and opportunities.
Now in its eighth year, the European Business Awards, sponsored by RSM International, the seventh largest global audit, tax and advisory network, recognises and rewards excellence, best practice and innovation in companies across the European Union.
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards says, “Our judges were extremely impressed with the standard of entries from Sweden this year. Following intensive discussion and debate, we have chosen the best business to move forward in the competition.”

The swedish National Champions will now be included in a 2nd round, where judges will view and score the video entries from all 709 National Champions representing 33 countries across Europe. On 10th February 2015, the Chairman of Judges will announce which 100 extraordinary National Champions will move forward in the competition as Ruban d’Honneur recipients.
The European Business Awards is additionally running a public video vote and the National Champion from Sweden that receives the highest number of public votes for their video will become a ‘National Public Champion’. Online voting for National Public Champions runs from 09:00 CET on Tuesday 6th January 2015 until 17:00 CET on Tuesday 24th February 2015. The National Public Champion will then be part of a second public voting phase where the victor will win the title of overall European Public Champion.
Overall winners from the Ruban d’Honneur recipients and the public video vote will be revealed at a Gala awards ceremony in June 2015.
