Rekordmånga deltagare i EuroPride Parade Stockholm

Årets EuroPride Parade lockade rekordmånga deltagare, uppskattningsvis mellan 55-60 000 personer fördelade på 200-250 ekipage. Många internationella deltagare gick med, bland annat flera Pridefestivaler från andra delar av världen, var på plats tack vare att det i år är just EuroPride.

Flertalet politiker paraderade, bland annat deltog statsministern Stefan Löven, med minister-kollegor, liksom partiledare från sju olika riksdagspartier. Ett antal myndigheter, så som Sida, Polismyndigheten och Försvarsmakten deltog också.

I EuroPride Parade blandades festliga ekipage med allvarsamma budskap. RSFL:s återkommande kampanj i paraden ”Marching for those who can´t” togs emot med rungande applåder av publiken. Kampanjen uppmärksammar de människor världen över som på grund av förtryck inte har möjlighet att gå med.

Flera kommersiella aktörer deltog, liksom kommuner, föreningar, alla våra fantastiska partners och privatpersoner.

Ett annat uppskattat inslag var den flygbanderoll som Jonas Gardell hade organiserat och sågs flyga över staden med texten ”Villkorslös kärlek”.
 

Record participants in EuroPride Parade Stockholm

This year's EuroPride Parade held in Stockholm attracted record participants for the city, estimated between 55-60,000 people divided between 200-250 sections. Many international sections participated, including other Pride festivals from different parts of the world, much thanks to the fact that this year is just a EuroPride year in Stockholm.

Politicians also paraded, and among others, the prime minister Stefan Löven and minister-colleagues participated, as well as party leaders from seven different parliamentary parties. A number of authorities, such as Sida, the Police and the Armed Forces also participated.

In EuroPride Parade Stockholm, festive squads were mixed with important messages. RSFL's recurring campaign in the parade "Marching for those who can't" was received with huge applause by the audience. The campaign draws attention to the people around the world who, because of oppression, are not able to join the parade.

Several commercial actors participated, like cities and municipalities, associations, all our fantastic partners and smaller sections organized by private persons.

Another appreciated feature was the airline roll that Jonas Gardell had organized and was seen flying over the city with the text "unconditional love".
