Swedfunds VD Björn Blomberg bjuds in till samtal med Liberias president

Swedfunds VD, Björn Blomberg, inbjöds till ett möte med Liberias president Ellen Sirleaf Johnson, i samband med hennes besök i Sverige. Ellen Sirleaf Johnson gjorde ett kort stopp i Stockholm efter att hon mottagit Nobels Fredspris. Presidenten ville diskutera dels de investeringar som Swedfund är involverad i och dels företagets framtida engagemang i Liberia.

"We support the wood chip export business because it supports the resuscitation of the rubber industry by helping the small farmers with the replanting - and it creates employment and supports the rehabilitation of the Buchanan harbour."
