Talkpool wins 5G contract with Ericsson
As communicated on November 17, Talkpool has reentered the US market and acquired 100% of the shares in Talkpool LLC to meet the high demand for network expertise and services triggered by the 5G network deployments throughout the US and the Caribbean. To support both the US market and the Caribbean the operational company has been relocated to Miami, FL.
Talkpool has now signed a service contract with Ericsson for the delivery of 5G roll out services in Puerto Rico. The project will run at least until the end of 2022 and the contract value for Talkpool will be at least USD 1,5m.

In addition to the significant demand for 5G services, the IoT market in the US is booming and Talkpool has received several requests for IoT products and solutions. Discussions about potential channel sales on the US market through existing partners is also ongoing. Based on this demand, adaptions of selected Talkpool IoT products to the US standard is already in progress.
