Stockholm, February 02, 2021, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Stockholm office announced today that Veena Bohlin will retire as Marketing Manager for Scandinavia on February 24, 2021.

Veena has been responsible for marketing Thailand in Scandinavia since 2003. During her time, the number of tourists from Scandinavia to Thailand has expanded more than double and TAT has been the recipient of countless awards.

"After a 43-year long career, including 17 years with TAT Stockholm, I have decided it is time for me to retire. I am very proud to be a part of a well-organized tourist office such as TAT and to promote a beautiful versatile destination such as Thailand.

Although no successor has yet been appointed, TAT Stockholm, under Director Eurblarp (Ella) Sriphiromya, has a strong team. With their efficiency, they will continue to strive for excellence and achieve the brightest future for tourism to Thailand.

Under the current challenging situation, it will not be possible for me to personally bid farewell to all my friends, as I hoped I would. Therefore, I take this opportunity to thank all my friends in the Nordics and the Baltics for the friendships and support you have rendered to me over all these years.”

For marketing purpose, please contact Director of TAT Stockholm at email: Eurblarp@tourismthailand.se
