Nordens första kommersiella IMAX-biograf till Mall of Scandinavia

Under hösten 2015 öppnar SF Bio Nordens första kommersiella IMAX-biograf i Mall of Scandinavia. Filmstaden Scandinavia kommer att innehålla 15 salonger varav en IMAX-utrustad. IMAX är en innovation som genom kombinationen av programvara, arkitektur och utrustning skapar en upplevelse som tar biobesöket till en helt ny dimension. En IMAX-biograf kompletterar det starka shopping och dining-utbudet och går helt i linje med Mall of Scandinavias fokus på exceptionell kvalitet och design.

– Vi har sett tillväxten av IMAX i Europa och dess popularitet och vi tror att tiden är rätt at göra IMAX till en viktig del av vår satsning på biografupplevelsen. En IMAX-biograf kommer att bli en helt ny attraktion i vår nya Filmstad där de stora filmerna kommer att ha premiär, säger Jan Bernhardsson, President och CEO i Nordic Cinema Group som består av bl.a. Filmstaden Scandinavia kommer att bestå av:

• 11 salonger anpassade till en stor publik med norra Europas största dukar. Denna anläggning kommer att ha Nordens största filmduk och över 1 800 fåtöljer. Den största salongen kommer att byggas som en IMAX-biograf med ca 500 fåtöljer.

• En lyxbiograf med fyra VIP-salonger byggs i en separat del med en exklusiv restaurang och bar med möjlighet att äta och dricka i anslutning till filmen.
