Munich, February 9, 2011 – VINNAPAS® EAF 68 polymer dispersion and GENIOSIL® N hybrid sealants & adhesives will feature prominently among the products that Munich-based chemical company WACKER will unveil for the adhesives and sealants industry at the European Coatings Show (ECS) 2011. VINNAPAS® EAF 68 stands for a new generation of all-round, high-performance binders that are made without the assistance of alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEOs). Boasting excellent technical properties and an outstanding price-performance ratio, the dispersion is ideal for hard-to-bond floor coverings, such as linoleum and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). With WACKER’s hybrid technology, rapid-curing one-component GENIOSIL® N adhesives and sealants have become feasible. The range of applications stretches from highly flexible, paintable sealants through to high-tensile-strength assembly adhesives. The ECS takes place in Nuremberg from March 29 to 31, 2011.
