Stockholm, den 28 september 2010 – Xerox introducerar storformatsfärgskrivaren Xerox 7142 med styrenheten FreeFlow Accxes. Maskinen producerar snabbt precisa utskrifter från en rad CAD och GIS-applikationer, inklusive grafik och ritningar för ingenjörs- och arkitektändamål.
Den nya styrenheten FreeFlow Accxes ger ökad kapacitet till inkjet-maskinen Xerox 7142. Användare kan skriva ut stora tekniska dokument i flera format i en hastighet på upp till 40 kvadratmeter i timmen. Systemet är flexibelt nog för att passa olika sorts miljöer, från tryckbutiker till företag inom arkitekt-, ingenjörs- och byggbranschen.

Xerox 7142 wide format colour printer with FreeFlow Accxes controller delivers technical documents with advanced workflow tools
Xerox today announced the Xerox 7142 wide format colour printer with FreeFlow® Accxes® controller. The device delivers fast accurate printing of a wide range of CAD and GIS applications including engineering and architectural renderings and schematics.
The Xerox 7142 with FreeFlow Accxes controller provides the low cost colour inkjet device with the power to print large multi-format colour technical documents at up to 40 square metres per hour. The system is flexible enough to fit in a variety of environments, including commercial print shops and architectural, engineering and construction companies. The new Accxes controller brings new performance processing power to this inkjet product.

The controller provides a user driver interface that is common to all other mono CAD devices in the Xerox mono CAD range thus allowing the user to move between any Xerox CAD device and have the same user experience.
The Xerox 7142’s use of piezo print head technology enables the printer to be compatible with a wide range of media including low cost plain paper for check plots. This, coupled with the FreeFlow Accxes controller, allows fast accurate printing of a wide range of file formats including PostScript, PDF, DWF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and DGN.
The web based utilities allow users to see the status of their job, change queue parameters and request reprints.
