Seably and MMK : Revolutionising yacht safety and the guest experience
Seably, the DNV-approved digital training platform for the maritime industry and MMK Booking Manager, the most extensive global distribution system in yacht charter, are joining forces to create a seamless charter experience by easing the pressure on bareboat charterers and improving guests safety through 360° eLearning in the Booking Manager Charter Academy.
When charter companies sign up for the Booking Manager Charter Academy, Seably will take a 360° scan of each of their boats and create a familiarisation course with interactive ‘hot spots’ and straightforward user guides that are short, fun and memorable. The course will be sent to guests pre-check-in to speed up time-constrained changeovers and reduce the risk of costly mistakes and accidents from inexperienced and inattentive guests. They will also be downloadable for guests to rewatch during the charter so they can fact-check and problem-solve on the go.
Guests will also have access to hundreds of ready-made Seably approved courses about every aspect of sailing, to refresh their skills or learn something new, from safety to security and the basics of sailing, to celestial navigation. It can be set as a requirement for charter or taken at the guest's leisure. They can also download any courses and look at them offline on a dedicated app whilst on the boat.
Charter agencies will also be able to create their own courses with the support of the Seably content team, to give even more value to their guests or to help induct their own staff in company policies, values, onboarding, health and safety or check-in protocol.
