Dutch authorities order secure smartphone service from Sectra

Sectra (STO: SECT B) has signed an order for its secure voice communication and text messaging service for smartphones with Dutch authorities. The authorities’ officials will thus gain the freedom to communicate sensitive information over standard mobile networks without risk of interception.

Through this order, the authorities are expanding their use of Sectra’s eavesdrop-secure smartphone solution, Sectra Panthon, and are making the service available on a wider scale. Sectra is contracted to handle all system administration, including set-up and key and certificate management.

Sectra will showcase Sectra Panthon at the InfoSecurity exhibition on October 29-30, in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
