First order of international Sectra Tiger Sectra has received its first order for the international version of Sectra Tiger secure GSM telephone. The customer, a USA-based organization within the telecommunications business*, has ordered six telephones. Sectra Tiger will be used to secure the customers international business communications. "We regard the initial order as an important indicator of the market potential for secure mobile communications in the high-end corporate segment," says Per Unell, President of Sectra Communications. The international version of Sectra Tiger is due to be released in June this year, and is aimed at a corporate market outside of Sectra Communication's traditional defense segments. Sectra Tiger was developed initially for defense purposes. Sectra Tiger guarantees secure communication for the entire connection - from transmitter to receiver- in voice and data transfer as well as SMS text services. The phone works on existing GSM networks and can be used regardless of operator or intermediate carrier network. Sectra Tiger integrates advanced cryptography with GSM technology, making it user- friendly.
