Sectra continues to dominate the Scandinavian PACS market. The county of Värmland in Sweden has signed an agreement with Sectra Imtec AB for PACS at what is to become the county's first filmfree hospital, Karlstad. The order is, in its first phase, worth SEK 14 million (approx USD 1,7 million) and includes workstations and servers to make the hospital completely free of film. As a second phase the plan is to make all of the remaining hospitals in the county of Värmland fully film free. "Old customers coming back to us like Värmland is a living proof that our products provides the best customer satisfaction on the market. Sectra currently holds around 70% of Swedish PACS market. Close to 50% of the Swedish hospitals are, or are estimated to become, totally film free within the next two years.
