Sectra enters the Russian market with new partnership

The Swedish IT and medical technology company Sectra has signed a distribution agreement with McBrothers, a leading medical technology company based in St Petersburg, Russia.

McBrothers represents a number of internationally renowned manufacturers of a wide range of state-of-the-art medical equipment. Through this partnership, McBrothers becomes a distributor of Sectra’s medical systems in the western regions of Russia. The agreement includes Sectra PACS (system for processing and archiving of digital radiology images) and Sectra’s digital mammography solution, Sectra MicroDose Mammography.

“McBrothers is a very professional medical solutions distributor with a solid position and an established customer base in the St Petersburg region,” says Lars Wettergren, Global Partner Manager for Radiology IT at Sectra. “We believe the timing is right for entering this market as the Russian government is currently making significant investments in the healthcare sector.”
