Sectra lands 700th PACS contract

The Swedish medical and technology company Sectra has sold its 700th software system for handling digital radiology images (PACS). Sectra’s global reach extends to sites in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Today, more than 30 million radiology examinations per year are performed using Sectra’s systems, worldwide. Sectra’s product line features PACS as well as full field mammography systems and a broad range of focused clinical solutions, including systems for mammography, orthopedics, cardiology and nuclear medicine. In selected markets (Scandinavia, the UK and Ireland) Sectra also offers a fully integrated RIS with its radiology IT solutions.
