Press release – March 27, 2025 – International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (STO: SECT B) is holding a Capital Markets Day today in Stockholm with a focus on medical diagnostic IT operations. Growth areas to be presented at the Capital Markets Day include medical diagnostic imaging and IT for precision medicine. Attendees will also gain insight into the company’s overall vision and the corporate culture that has allowed Sectra to become a leader in customer satisfaction and to be ranked as one of Sweden’s best employers.

Sectra is growing and making major progress in the ongoing transformation from traditional IT solutions to cloud-based services. The presentations will provide an update on Sectra’s ongoing transition to service sales and an in-depth look at the company’s priorities, market trends and selected product segments.

Torbjörn Kronander, President and CEO of Sectra AB, comments:

“The transition to fully cloud-based services is moving quickly. In the last 12 months, cloud services accounted for nearly 85% of order bookings in our Imaging IT Solutions operating area. This demonstrates that many customers are already demanding this type of delivery model, which is a key part of our strategy for increased customer value, better scalability and recurring revenue. Through the transformation, we are future-proofing Sectra’s operations and positioning ourselves to generate sustainable revenue over time, while also creating greater value for our customers and thus ultimately our shareholders.”

He continues:
“Our medical imaging IT operations are continuing to grow—not only in radiology, but also in other product areas, such as cardiology, where we have made investments in recent years to further develop our offering to better meet customer needs. We are also seeing a positive trend in pathology, with growing international interest, and we secured several deals in France, Norway and the USA over the past year.”

Hear more about these investments at the Capital Markets Day, where Sectra will showcase its products in cardiology, radiology, IT support for genomics and medical education.
