Dr Hans-Dieter Ledwa, who runs a mammography practice at the Radiologische Diagnostik am Borsigturm in Berlin, Germany, buys the Sectra mammography system. Dr Ledwa is a highly experienced mammography doctor who makes approximately 50 examinations per day.

The Sectra mammography system, called Sectra MicroDose Mammography, provides the lowest radiation dose on the international market. With this purchase, Dr Ledwa can offer his patients safe breast examinations due to the Sectra stand’s excellent imaging quality and low radiation dose. “I have been looking for a mammography stand with a lower radiation dose for a long, long time,” says Dr Ledwa. “Now I am so glad I have found it. I know women are afraid of both cancer and of radiation. Now I can offer them an examination with good image quality and a low radiation dose, both of which will benefit women.” “We are very proud of Dr Ledwa deciding for a Sectra MicroDose Mammography system,” says Dr. Keizers, President of Sectra in Germany. “Within all phases of the purchase process Dr. Ledwa always prioritized the advantage for his patients.” “This already is the fourth mammography system, which we install in Germany. We will be glad, if radiologists across the whole of Germany soon will offer our low dose mammography examinations to the advantage of their patients, Dr. Keizers concludes.” Sectra’s digital mammography system is an easy-to-use digital system that supports the entire workflow, from examination to documented diagnosis. The system provides unsurpassed throughput and good ergonomics and for the patients this means stress-free, quick examinations. Sectra has delivered and installed mammography systems in countries such as Sweden, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
