Sectra signs multi-year contracts with Dutch hospitals
Sectra has secured orders for radiology IT solutions from two Dutch hospitals, Elkerliek Ziekenhuis and St. Elisabeth Hospital Tilburg. The multi-year contracts with the hospitals will apply for five to eight years.
The orders include upgrades of the customers’ existing systems for managing digital radiology images (PACS) as well as service and support. The hospitals will also implement Sectra’s system for efficient handling of patient information (RIS).
“In the past six months, we have seen an increase in the number of Dutch hospitals that make additional investments to take on our overall solution. This is proof that we have cost-efficient products that meet our customers’ demands,” says Marie Ekström, Head of Sectra’s radiology IT business.
Sectra’s solution enhance the efficiency of each step of the care process, from when a physician refers a patient to a radiology examination to when radiology images and responses to referrals are returned. Faster processing will ultimately result in shorter waiting times and more rapid care for patients.
