Sectra strengthens its presence in Norway Sectra Norge AS signs a contract of NOK 4.5 million (approx. 576,000 USD; 549,000 EUR) with Namdal Hospital in Namsos, Norway. The contract comprises a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for the extension of the digital radiology department at the hospital to become a film free operation. "I'm very satisfied with the choice, as an already established cooperation can proceed in the new millenium", says Department director Claes-Göran Lönnroth, MD. Lönnroth also forsees an extended cooperation between the hospitals in the region, as the new digital department will be connected to the regional health network. "We are especially happy to be awarded this contract, as it shows that good relations and creative cooperation create trust between vendor and customer", says Managing Director of Sectra Norge AS, Åge Sjåfjell. Sectra Norge AS has delivered similar projects to Vestfold Central Hospital in Tønsberg, and a large Teleradiology installation in Nordland Fylke.
