Swedish County Council enhances efficiency of mammography using IT system from Sectra
Linköping, Sweden – November 27, 2015 - IT and medical technology company Sectra (STO: SECT B) has signed a multi-year agreement with Region Jönköping. This Swedish county council is thus changing to Sectra’s IT solution for the management and storage of radiology images and patient information (PACS and RIS) for its mammography operation. The order value amounts to EUR 1.6 Million.
To enable care providers to give better, faster and more patient-centered care, Sectra offers systems and services for comprehensive management and storage of all types of medical images, primarily for large image diagnostics units, such as radiology, mammography and pathology, but also in other departments, where medical image material is used. Medical images for cancer diagnostics run like a common thread through Sectra’s offering.
Sectra Breast Imaging PACS will be showcased in booth #6113 at RSNA in Chicago.
