Swedish export products go secure: Saab orders airborne crypto system from Sectra

Saab Aerosystems and Saab Bofors Dynamics have ordered a crypto system for the JAS 39 Gripen aircraft and Robot 15 from Sectra. The crypto system will ensure that sensitive information is protected during various tests conducted within and outside Sweden’s borders. The order value is slightly more than SEK 10 Million.

The crypto system is designed for export customers and meets the strictest security requirements. During the spring, Sectra delivered a similar crypto to FMV (Swedish Defense Materiel Administration) that is currently used in the Swedish Defense Forces’ JAS 39 Gripen aircraft.
