Olof Christensson appointed new president of Design & Development
Semcon has appointed Olof Christensson to be the new president of the Design & Development business area. He will take up his new position in September 2013.

Semcon has the ambition of further developing Design & Development’s current business and focus on international growth. Olof Christensson is currently Region Director Nordic Countries, Stena Technoworld, which is part of the Stena Metall Group. He has previously worked at companies such as Sensel AB/Vattenfall Group and Storel.
He will become a member of Semcon’s group management team and report to the CEO.
The Design & Development business area has nearly 700 employees working with industrial design, product development, production development and plant design. The business area carries out projects around the world from offices in Sweden and Germany. The business mainly focuses on the industrial, energy, telecoms and life science sectors.
