New Store on Same Site of Historic Main Store Built in 1940sSan Jose, Calif., May 28, 2014 -- First established in Santa Clara Valley 83 years ago, home and garden retailer Orchard Supply Hardware is strengthening its roots with the opening of a brand new flagship store in Midtown San Jose. The new store, located at 377 Royal Avenue (at San Carlos Street), is on the same site as Orchard’s historic main store which opened in 1946. Orchard will celebrate the transformation of the storied property with a neighborhood Open House Celebration on May 31 at 6:30 a.m., featuring honored guest
