SensoDetects technology is used for research in Autism in children and adolescents
After finishing the Open study of brainstem abnormalities detected in children and adolescents with autism (autism spectrum disorders), is now the research team on BUP in Eslöv ahead with a blindstudie to ensure they found abnormalities related to autism. 150 patients seeking to BUP in Eslöv regardless of the reason, will participate in the study which is expected to be concluded in the spring of 2018. SensoDetects technology is used in both studies.
"The assessment process for autism today is long and demanding. The clinical assessor has rating scales, interviews and observations to his assistance but objective/diagnostic test is missing today and are in demand. SensoDetects technology allows for improvements in this area", says Magnus Lindvall, chief physician and associate professor, at the Department of clinical science in child and adolescent psychiatry

It is therefore important to find new solutions that can contribute to a more efficient care and where technology can improve efficiency without adversely affecting the staff's workload and focus.
