The eagerly awaited BMW 1 Series Sports Hatch will be unveiled at Astle BMW in Grimsby and Scunthorpe this weekend.
The luxury vehicle, which will be officially launched on Saturday 17th September, is the only rear-wheel drive model in its class and for the first time both the petrol and diesel engines feature BMW TwinPower Turbo technology which ensures a significant reduction in fuel consumption.

Furthermore with BMW EfficientDynamics technology the BMW 1 Series Sports Hatch remains a leader in fuel economy as the first car in its segment with optional eight-speed automatic transmission and Automatic Start/Stop function with both manual and automatic transmissions.
BMW ConnectedDrive is also available which provides customers with a selection of optional driver assistance systems and mobility services including high-beam assistance, adaptive headlights, parking assistant, rear view camera, lane departure warning (now including collision warning), cruise control with braking function and speed limit info (now including no passing info which detects routes on which overtaking restrictions are in force).
Features also include Internet connectivity, enhanced smartphone and music player integration, real-time traffic information and web radio, Facebook and Twitter apps.
