‘Royal’ number plates up for auction!

Silverstone Auctions has two very special number plates going under the hammer – one for the admirers of an iconic princess and the other for the fans of a musical king. The first one with very definite Royal overtones is a ‘D111ANA’ number plate (Lot 98), estimated at between £12,000 to £14,000. Meanwhile, the other number plate sure to leave bidders all shook up and hit all the right notes is ‘ELV 15P’ (Lot 99). It’s been estimated at between £25,000 to £30,000, a bargain when considering that a similar plate, ‘ELV 1S’ recently sold for £60,000 on the hammer. Both number plates
