Strong growth in the first nine months of the year
Summary SimCorp recorded a very satisfactory performance in the first nine months of 2007. 9M revenue was up 33% to EUR 107.9m (excluding the impact of the divested IT2 business). 9M EBIT was EUR 23.3m, an improve-ment of EUR 7.2m. SimCorp upholds its full-year projections of revenue in the EUR 150-160m range with an EBIT margin of around 24%. - - - SimCorp's Board of Directors today reviewed and approved the Group's interim report for the first nine months ended 30 September 2007. Highlights of the report are: • 9M revenue was up 33% y/y to EUR 107.9m. Q3 revenue was up by 21% over Q3 2006 to EUR 34.5m. Page 5 • The 9M order intake was EUR 35.5m, which was 6% less than in the year-earlier period. The order book increased by EUR 3.8m in Q3 to stand at EUR 24.7m at 30 September 2007. In-come recognised from licences and add-on licences amounted to EUR 34.7m in the nine-month period, an increase of 35% y/y. Page 5 • The level of sales and supply of professional services remained high. Professional fees for the first nine months of the year were EUR 37.8m, up 40% relative to the year-earlier period. Maintenance income was up by 26% relative to the same period of last year. Page 5 • 9M EBIT was EUR 23.3m, an improvement of EUR 7.2m, or 45%, relative to the same period of last year. Page 6 • SimCorp upholds its full-year projections of revenue in the EUR 150-160m range with an EBIT margin of around 24%. At 30 September 2007, contracts equalling EUR 137.5m of the revenue projected for 2007 had been secured, EUR 24.2m more than at the same time last year. The Group's pipeline of potential licence contracts is performing satisfactorily.
