SIMTRONICS ASA ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH AUTRONICA FIRE AND SECURITY AS

Simtronics ASA announced today that it has signed an agreement for bridge funding of NOK 10 million with Autronica Fire and Security AS. The bridge funding is an additional funding to the NOK 18 million bridge loan that was announced 3rd August last year. The loan shall be used for financing present and future working capital requirements of the company. The loan, together with accrued interest and fees shall be repaid on 30 September 2011 or at such earlier date as Autronica may notify to Simtronics. CONTINUED LOSSES FOR SIMTRONICS

Simtronics ASA, the Norwegian fire and gas safety company, today posted its fourth quarter and preliminary full year 2010 results. Soft markets and project delays resulted in negative earnings for Simtronics also in the fourth quarter. For the full year sales were down 10 per cent from the previous year, resulting in a net loss of NOK 49 million in 2010. Simtronics posted fourth quarter sales of NOK 61.9 million, which is slightly down from the same period in 2009. An extraordinary general meeting in Simtronics ASA is hereby convened for 8 March 2011 at 15:00 hours in the company’s offices in Kabelgaten 4 B, Økern Næringspark, Oslo. Autronica has today announced a voluntary offer for all shares of the company at a purchase price of NOK 1.90 per share. ORDER IN HAND - GAS DETECTORS FOR THE EUROPEAN MARKET

Simtronics ASA has received an order worth close to NOK 2,1 million for delivery of GD 10PE gas detectors to the European market. This is the largest single order ever received for this type of gas detectors, which is a modified version of the normal infrared gas detector, the GD 10P. SIMTRONICS TO DELIVER GAS ANALYZERS AND GAS DETECTORS FOR SUBMARINES.

Simtronics Group has through its French subsidiary signed a Frame agreement with DCNS in France for delivery of gas analyzers and gas detectors for submarines.  This Frame agreement is the confirmation of the expected contract which was announced in August in connection with the first order of NOK 2,4 million for generic studies. Negative third quarter for Simtronics

Simtronics ASA, the Norwegian fire and gas safety company, today posted its third quarter 2010 results. The Company saw a drop in sales and had negative earnings, however the order intake exceed sales in the quarter.Postponed sales for Simtronics products and financial challenges marked the third quarter for the Company.
