Notes To Editors

Regent Street, located in the heart of London’s West End, continues to build on its reputation as one of the ultimate shopping and lifestyle destinations in the world, with many global fashion brands choosing to call this famous shopping thoroughfare their home. Regent Street has two vibrant food quarters, Heddon Street and Swallow Street, both offering a great variety of international cuisine, where people come to relax within its stylish café, restaurants and bar, as well as the restaurants located on the street itself. These Regent Street Food Quarters boast a selection of restaurants from all over the world within a pedestrian oasis and where alfresco dining is extremely popular.  Heddon Street is home to Regent Street‘s first commemorative plaque, in honour of David Bowie and his alter ego Ziggy Stardust. The plaque celebrates the 40th year anniversary of the album Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders of Mars, whose album cover was photographed there.
