St James’s Christmas Lights switched on by international opera star Katherine Jenkins

Tonight, the St James’s London Christmas lights were switched on by classical opera star Katherine Jenkins in Jermyn Street. Prior to the switch on ceremony, Katherine led a carol concert in St James’s Church with an invited audience. Katherine said “It's a real honour to be asked to turn on the St James' Christmas lights. The new lighting design and scheme is fabulous as I'm sure you'll agree, Christmas has certainly arrived on Jermyn Street, St James’s".Two Christmas trees have also been installed within the grounds of St James’s Church.
