CST Global strengthens its product portfolio with 1490nm, 2.5Gbps, GPON lasers
Sivers IMA Holdings AB subsidiary, CST Global, has added 1490nm, 2.5Gbps, GPON (Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network) lasers to its fiber to the home (FTTH) product portfolio, following successful beta testing.
This downstream data transmission laser complements CST Global’s existing, 1310nm, 1.25/2.5Gbps and 1270nm, 2.5/10 Gbps DFB lasers for FTTH. These three FTTH laser options mean that CST Global now offers a great, combined solution for the fast-growing, GPON market.
