Our continued joint development with Thorium Space marks a significant step in advancing geostationary telecommunications satellites, This partnership represents a powerful convergence of innovation and expertise, collectively pushing the frontiers of satellite communications technology forward.

In 2023 we got the first larger prototype order, and we are now adding some design changes to deliver more prototypes for further system testing. The customer is making progress in their project and are getting closer to the volume phase, which strengthens our belief in a favorable future volume phase.

I am very happy to welcome Lottie to the role of CFO at Sivers. Her previous experience from Sivers as well as broad experience from international companies will be very valuable in our continued work to develop Sivers into a very successful international semiconductor company. Lottie will be an important part in continuing to drive growth and profitability, and I very much look forward to working with her. At the same time, I want to thank Håkan Rippe for his solid contribution during his nearly two years at Sivers

With the first order of approximately 30.000 chips that will be delivered in this quarter we are now seeing a clearer path towards volume production. By forming a strategic project, hiring an advisor, and giving Billy the possibility to focus on developing capacity and capabilities of the Photonics business unit, we believe that we have the best possibility to secure the right solution for the next phase. In addition, Andy McKee will secure the stability and performance of the existing Photonics business

This is an excellent acknowledgement of Sivers Semiconductors as a top tier supplier to be chosen for this project. We have via our Photonics business unit worked on the Lidar sensors for automotive use cases and now also getting EU funding for Radar applications as a possible emerging market within Wireless is very encouraging.

The US Federal CHIPS and Science Act will spur investment and innovation in the semiconductor industry like never seen before. The DoD Microelectronics Commons program is the first investment coming from the CHIPS Act, and Sivers is excited to be a part of this coalition. This is of course made possible by our transformative acquisition of MixComm in 2022, which has a long history of working with the DOD.

We are now seeing multiple customers using the unlicensed 5G 60GHz band getting to volume, and it is promising to see more and more customers enter this phase. Also, seeing orders from our global distributor Richardson RFPD, now having customers reaching this phase, is very encouraging

The sale was made to pay tax for the 2021 tax year that arose in connection with the sale of MixComm to Sivers. My remaining holding in Sivers remains my largest private financial investment by far and I have strong faith in Sivers’ future.

This agreement is interesting and important to Sivers for three reasons. The first and most obvious one is that it is a proof point that our new RFIC leads the competition with its strong performance and high level of integration, especially in a highly competitive market like India. The second reason is that this activity will expose us to one of the world’s top three telecom markets and, assuming we are successful, we could see very interesting volumes being deployed in a not-too-far future. The third reason is that it will secure baseband integration with one of the leading 5G baseband suppliers within the semiconductor industry

This is the largest development project ever for Sivers, and I am thrilled to see how the combined capability of our US and Swedish teams has enabled us to win this deal. This further strengthens Sivers’ solutions within the satellite communications market, and it is encouraging to see how well our teams work together on this project. Satellite communication is already shaping up to a very substantial market for us in 2023 and we have great hopes for this customer to become successful and win growing market share in a market with a very extensive TAM. The chipset production volumes for Sivers across both current- and next-generation terminals has the potential could be many orders of magnitude larger than the current development agreement.

It is great to see how reuse of our standard products can open the door to new verticals using existing and mature products in a totally different application. Many years back we were active in the radar eco-system and now we can offer products in this area and add innovation and unique value to a very interesting product platform that may change the way our joint customers will develop future high performing radar products

I am very happy that Harish Krishnaswamy has accepted the MD role. Harish has a great network in the USA and is very well known in the semiconductor industry. This will further strengthen our focus in the USA and support us in our largest market.

I am extremely honoured to take on the role of MD of Wireless at Sivers and look forward to working closely with Anders and the entire wireless team. We are at a very exciting time with the large and exciting opportunities ahead of us and the broader macro trends that we are seeing.

This order is yet another important step towards the customer’s full-scale production. Even if the order is for pre-series production, the monetary value is substantial, showing significant volume demand for our market leading beamformer ICs. The order certainly gives an indication of what true high-volume production can mean, and we are working very closely with this customer to make it a reality.

We are excited to work with Chalmers in this project and leverage their expertise in adaptable power-amplifier technology for electronically steerable antennas. The collaboration will help us boost the performance and efficiency of the next generation Sivers Wireless 5G beamforming transceivers.

Airvine has killed one of the fundamental myths of mmWave technology. The way they blast the data traffic through walls is a mind-blowing application of our high-performance technology. The cooperation with the Airvine team has been excellent and we are very excited and optimistic to how the WaveTunnelTM will conquer the market for intelligent indoor, broadband backbone solutions

We are very excited to begin shipments of our ground-breaking WaveTunnel technology. There has been great enthusiasm on the part of our pilot customers who are eager to get this technology into their production networks. The pilot phase was massively oversubscribed.

This is a very important step in our join efforts with Kreemo to bring best in class mmWave Meta verse solutions to the market. Antennas on display will be a game changer for this type of applications.

KREEMO has developed this module in record time. With this 5G module optimized for the metaverse, Sivers Semiconductors enters for the first time into consumer applications. It is with great pleasure we now can share more information about our new line of products that are now within the Sivers family. With these products in our portfolio we add state-of-the-art BFICs, new Frequency Converters as well as a very High-end Fixed Wireless Access Module to our portfolio and are now happy to share this with all customers at MWC 2022

Currently, we are jointly working on a first joint customer project and appreciate doing this with a world-leading point-to-point supplier like MaxLinear. We are honored to be working with them and the customer in a project like this. It is proof of our capabilities to be in the front seat of millimeter wave development. This project will result in a disruptive approach to designing 60 GHz point-to-point solutions, enabling WISP and Mobile operators around the world to meet the growing demand for backhaul capacity at a lower cost.

It is very nice to start of 2022 with the largest 5G volume order we have received in the company's history. The pandemic has had a negative effect on our business for about two years, hence it is extra exciting that we now can start delivering volumes with our 5G products to 8Devices and their customers.

This has been a valuable opportunity for Sivers Semiconductors to be able to provide yet another proof point of our world leading mmWave technology. Together with Rohde & Schwarz, we have demonstrated that the high performance of our mmWave transceiver RFICs provide a pathway for future NR-U deployments in the 60 GHz band based on the upcoming 3GPP Release 17 standard. Early access to test and measurement solutions capable of addressing new and upcoming standards such as 5GNR in the 60 GHz band is critical for our mission to be at the forefront of technology development.

We have worked closely with the MixComm team to finalize this acquisition and it has been a great pleasure getting to know many of the team members. MixComm has in a short time period been able to build a very impressive customer list as well as sales funnel. MixComm and Sivers have the same philosophy when it comes to building partnerships within the mmWave eco-system and by adding these eco-systems together we will create an even greater combined entity. I would like to welcome MixComm into the Sivers family and look forward to executing on all the exciting plans we have together.

Ayar Labs was designated one of three companies in the 2021 Gartner ‘Cool Vendors in Silicon Photonics’ report.  Ayar Labs optical device technology will transform next generation computing and Sivers Photonics are excited to be engaged in this new technology.

Sivers Semiconductors pushes ahead with even more 5G innovations. These groundbreaking RFICs bring many world-first technology advancements to the market and will improve and speed up all licensed mmWave 5G rollout. A fully integrated RFIC offers the need for a lot fewer components, which mean less cost and higher quality. These are critical parameters when designing for example Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) or small cell base stations.

Fujikura is a well-known company with many capabilities, and it is an honor to work with their 60 GHz team in this project. With thoroughness and very high-quality standards, they have taken steps to reach a point where they now will take the final leap to commercially pursue the many new opportunities in the 60 GHz communications market. We are very happy to see that they now are entering this phase.

After moving to Nasdaq Stockholm's main list, we are now entering the next phase of our growth journey. Håkans Rippe's many years of experience as CFO from companies on the main list and from the stock market will be a strong addition to the company. Håkan has run many M&A transactions and been responsible for business development in the US for many years, which is a big plus.

Over 65 percent of our sales are already in the US and we believe having local employees will contribute to accelerated US growth. With very important Fortune 100 customers and an exciting silicon photonics market in the US, we are very happy to welcome Susan to Sivers as our first ever employee in the US.

This is the second order from this customer in 2021, at total value of some SEK 25m, which is already on the same level as during the full year 2020. Over the last 12 months the total order value now stands at some SEK 50m. I am very pleased to see that we are accelerating the number of orders and for each order the chance increases that we will be part of the future volume production for the sensors.

We are very pleased to get this design win and our second order from TMYTEK this year. The BFM06009 targets the Fixed Wireless Access market and we are excited about the growth potential TMYTEK’s interest in our technology implies for our 5G mmWave products in both Asia and globally.

I am very pleased to strengthen our local presence in Japan, given the vast market potential for millimeter wave products. Frequencies have been allocated in Japan and we can see a big interest from large companies and mobile network operators, many of which are active also on the global marketplace, indicating a promising sales growth potential.

The listing on Nasdaq Stockholm main market is a quality stamp and an important milestone for us. It is another important piece of the puzzle in our continued expansion and development of the company as it contributes to an increased awareness of our business. The listing strengthens our profile and our brand both with our customers and with investors, which means that we have increased access to the Swedish and international capital markets. In addition, our ability to attract and retain qualified employees increases. All in all, the listing is an important part of creating increased long-term shareholder value.

We’re excited to work with imec and ASM AMICRA on the development of advanced integrated photonic components. The availability of tailored InP laser sources, designed and fabricated on our InP100 manufacturing platform, will boost the adoption of silicon photonic circuits for a wide variety of commercial applications.
