Sivers Semiconductors receives 5G volume orders valued at $620k from multiple new customers entering the volume phase
Sivers Semiconductors AB today announces that its business unit, Sivers Wireless, has received orders worth $620k (MSEK 6,5) for the delivery of unlicensed 5G mmWave modules in the 60 GHz band during 2023 to multiple new customers entering the volume phase.
The orders include customers like Airvine as well as another customer via Richardson RFPD (Sivers’ distributor) and represent the start of a volume ramp after general availability announcements of their products.
“We are now seeing multiple customers using the unlicensed 5G 60GHz band getting to volume, and it is promising to see more and more customers enter this phase. Also, seeing orders from our global distributor Richardson RFPD, now having customers reaching this phase, is very encouraging”, says Anders Storm, Group CEO, Sivers Semiconductors.
