KISTA, Sweden, 24 June, 2020 - Sivers IMA Holding AB (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: SIVE) today announced that its subsidiary, CST Global, is a founding member of an industry leading group of companies signed up to a multi-source agreement, MSA, to standardize integrated photonics devices. The MSA will define a new, industry-standard for continuous wave laser sources.

We are thrilled to join forces with true industry leaders in this important standardization task. The use of continuous wave laser sources is currently associated with high levels of complex customization, which has hampered uptake for cost-sensitive applications. The MSA standardization and specifications for optical components is critical to enable high-volume, low-cost, laser solutions and will help drive industry growth.", said Anders Storm, CEO of Sivers IMA.

The MSA group includes industry leaders and household names such as Arista, Ayar Labs, imec, Intel, Lumentum, Luminous Computing, MACOM, Quintessent, Sumitomo Electric and II-VI. The MSA also includes ‘observer’ members comprising AMF, Axalume, Coherent Solutions, Furukawa Electric, Global Foundries, Nvidia and Scintil Photonics.
