Sivers Photonics exhibiting and presenting at SPIE Photonex + Vacuum Technologies in Glasgow, UK
Sivers Semiconductors AB announces today the participation at SPIE Photonex + Vacuum Technologies in Glasgow, UK. The subsidiary, Sivers Photonics, will exhibit and speak at the event taking place from 28 – 30 September.
Photonex + Vacuum Technologies 2021 will be the UK's first opportunity for the Photonics community to come back together in-person.
Sivers Photonics will meet with key industry leaders during one in a series of six conferences taking place during the event, including Silicon Photonics and Quantum Technology, networking with industry leaders to discuss the latest research and showcase Sivers capabilities across a wide range of applications.
Dr Iain Eddie, Director of Device Engineering, Sivers Photonics will present a paper entitled “InP laser sources optimised for integration to SiPh circuits”, during the Emerging Applications in Silicon Photonics III session, taking place on 30 September from 10:30 AM – 12:20 PM BST.
Meet with Sivers in the exhibition area at Booth #513, where the team will be on hand to discuss our advanced capabilities in the design and manufacture of active III-V photonic devices on InP, GaAs, GaSb and GaN substrates, including customised high-power DFB lasers for silicon photonic integration.
