*) Sales in November 14.6 SEK billion Skandia's sales for the period January through November 2000 amounted to SEK 184.3 billion (117.5). Sales of unit linked assurance increased to SEK 130.5 billion (82.2), and sales of mutual fund savings products to SEK 50.7 billion (32.0). Sales in November amounted to SEK 14.6 billion (12.5), compared with SEK 15.6 billion in October. Added to this were deposits of SEK 1.2 billion in Skandia's and Carlson's PPM funds (the new Swedish pension system) in November, compared with SEK 0.4 billion in October. In the USA, sales through November rose to USD 11.6 billion (8.9), broken down into variable annuities, USD 7.8 billion (6.1), and mutual funds, USD 3.8 billion (2.8). Sales rose in the UK to GBP 3.8 billion (1.9), and in Sweden to SEK 9.8 billion (5.3). Sales of unit linked assurance and mutual fund savings products in new markets amounted to SEK 13.4 billion (10.5). Sales through November, converted at average exchange rates, were positively affected by exchange rate movements in the amount of SEK 11.7 billion.
