Being a gentleman is to be noble and appreciated, but alas the way of gentlemen is becoming lost and gentlemanly ways are in serious danger of been forgotten, at a time when they are needed most.

Unfortunately in today’s society one only needs to get on a crowded train to witness the fact that there are very few true gentlemen remaining.

Socked.co.uk a new black sock subscription service for discerning gentlemen aims to bring back this forgotten art. Socked.co.uk combines a monthly sock delivery and lessons in etiquette.

Mark Robert Hall Managing Director of Socked commented “A few basic good manners and etiquette will ensure that you leave a positive lasting memorable impression on all those that you encounter”

“With any luck your attitude will be copied by others, thus so you can make a real difference to society.”

“Having good manors is mostly good common sense such as helping an old lady across the street, holding the door open for others, not swearing, shaking hands when meeting someone or simply by respecting others by showing respect to oneself by not wearing odd socks”

Socked.co.uk a black sock subscription service launched late August 2012 and provides monthly delivered socks from just £1.97 a pair that come complete with monthly gentleman etiquette tips, some of the tips can be found on the websites tips page and there is also a journal promoting the lost art of the gentleman.

The service will appeal to internet savvy men who are time poor, but simply will not stand for garish, old, tatty or odd socks. Or will be bought as gift purchase for someone who needs both socks and perhaps manors.
