General Motors has issued a recall for all of its Chevrolet Cruze compact vehicles after reports of engine fires.

The recall affects 475,000 vehicles from model years 2011 and 2012. General Motors will modify the engine shield to help stop liquids from getting trapped in the engine compartment, where a fire could start and spread, according to the Detroit News.

The company has received about 30 reports of vehicles fires linked to fluids trapped in the engine, according to the Detroit News.

In the past couple of months, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began an investigation into the vehicles.
